If memory serves (please correct me if I’m wrong) this is a doodle Forrest Fenn gave to Cynthia Meachum after the find when she asked him if she had been close to the treasure chest. The doodle appears to be leaping over an opening in the earth, could it be a river or perhaps the creek mentioned the poem? It looks like the tc is in the doodle‘s back pocket.
No matter what she had and has and how much is in her back pocket, she desires and continues to search for much much more. That looks like a no matter what.
I know many laugh at the idea that brown trout or fishing was involved in the correct solution. Fishing was a huge part of Forrest Fenn's life, his family’s life, and he was a very sentimental man. It’s not one bit silly to believe fish or fishing is significant in the correct solution, at least in part, along the way, and on the right path.
This picture says a lot if one knows where to look. The symbols tell of the place and why.
Only one on this path. It must be the correct path -- at the end.

What these doodles look like to me, from top to bottom and left to right
1- A female floating upwards
2 - A male running towards her trying to stop her from floating away
3 - A male chasing the first male with a fan on his face
4 - A male with very large eyes and moustache/mouth
5 - A male holding the treasure
6 - A male giving directions
